Learn to Skate Lessons

Skate Toronto's learn to skate classes are designed to give skaters basic skating skills for recreational and leisure skating. Skate Toronto offers a Learn to Skate program for Tots and for Children. Skate Toronto uses the nationally accredited learn to skate program used by all ice skating clubs in Canada. All of our skating lessons are taught by certified figure skating and power skating coaches. From the beginning when a skater takes their first steps on the ice to more advanced skating lessons, Skate Toronto uses a step by step approach throughout all of it's learn to skate programs. Skating lessons are taught in small classes that allow coaches to give more individual attention to each skater for faster progress and better skill correction during our skating lessons.

Skate Toronto offers skating lessons during the Fall, Winter, Spring and Summer seasons at it's North York, Scarborough, Etobicoke, Richmond Hill, Markham, and Thornhill locations. Figure Skating Lessons

Skate Toronto offers the Pre Star and Junior Figure Skating programs at it's skating club. The Pre Star program is a bridge between learn to skate and figure skating for skaters that are interested in learning to figure skate. Skate Toronto's Junior Figure Skating program is an introductory figure skating program for those skaters that have completed the Pre Star program. For more infromation about which figure skating programs are most suitable for your child or to schedule an assessment please contact us.

Our Private Figure Skating School

Glittering Stars is Skate Toronto's private figure skating school that is designed to prepare skaters for making achievements by completing tests and attending competitions. Skate Toronto offers the Intermediate Figure Skating program and the Senior Figure Skating program.

Skate Toronto's Intermediate Figure Skating program is for skaters that are learning single jumps and all spin types. These figure skating lessons and classes are designed to prepare skaters for their Preliminary FreeSkate Test and for entry into the Senior Figure Skating program. Skate Toronto's Senior Figure Skating program is for skaters that have completed the Intermediate Figure Skating program and are working on their solos.
